The thing is an AwFuL game goes for 80 minutes, check the laws of the game if you dont believe. Endurance? There are about 100 interchanges in the fumbleball game and that is honestly pathetic for a profession "sport".

From what I understand League focuses more on player strength over endurance whereas AFL focuses more on endurance then strength...the AFL fields are much larger than a RL field, and the games go for longer? That being said RL has less interchanges than Aussie Rules, and RL players require more strength than AFL players as tackling is more important in RL than AFL...quite obviously.
