Why would I want to have knowledge about Afl. It's boring and dull.
UFClova - 8/20/2009
I've played every code of football there is and NRL and Union I've played the most. AFL is so easy to play and I'm in the front row in rugby. Our rugby team played AFL for school against all the top AFL schools and won the comp by a mile. and I scored over 30 points without a miss from 30m and more away piece of piss.
holycockamungo - 8/11/2009
stop compering the games skill level they are completely difffernt
holycockamungo - 8/11/2009
tru dat
holycockamungo - 8/11/2009
bullshit have u played it?
johnterrylegend - 5/22/2009
??? afl is fast paced when they are running with it but the ball spends the majority of the time in the air. nrl is a game of muscle but its played at an incredibly high tempo for such a physical sport. you cant say it doesnt have skill or brains either. take look at the players in the backs they are incredibly gifted with their hands and feet as well as offensive/defense organisation. even most of the "big" players have good skill sets dont think the 2 sports are comparable to be honest.
leejames1982 - 5/16/2009
thats right afl is a fast paced thinking game that requires alot of skill. NRL is a slow moving, game of muscle that doesnt require as much skill to play.
leejames1982 - 5/16/2009
mate we dont have AFL "tournaments" which shows your lack of knowledge about AFL, and seccondly there is far more skill involved in AFL compared to NRL, such as marking, kicking, handballing, rucking, tagging, leading, zoneing, tackling, clearing the ball, scoring... the list goes on and on. the only skills u need to play NRL are running, catching and throwing to get the ball over the line then one guy kicks the conversion??? im a fan of both games but AFL definetly requires more skill.
ROMEwolfboy357 - 5/15/2009
Like the only thing in AFL is just hugging/bearhugging and having a little run and kicking it, while the other team tries to steal the ball, thats IT. and the game stops for like 10seconds when someone catches it (most of the time)
ROMEwolfboy357 - 5/15/2009
just tackling passing running? afl is hugging/bearhugging, passing by hitting the ball, and kicking the ball to positons the score, while the other team justs trys to steal that kicked ball to gain possession.. thats all I see in AFL. I don't disrepect it, but compared to rugby or leauge, its not that great. You have your opinon. I have mine. Everyone else has theres.

i am an afl fan but any day of the week i will admitt your footy show shits on the afl footy show.. afl show was hilarious but now has become scripted and predictable.. still awsome
Jazafizzle - 1/2/2009
Thankyou.
yellowrainbows1 - 1/2/2009
I disagree. The amount of scoring in afl shows its lack of skill. I just don't see how afl is complicated and skillful having played in a tournament as a child. But it is your opinion. I believe the Nrl contains more chemistry and skill. There is alot more behind getting a ball over a white line. I respect your opinion, but If you don't support the nrl, I would appreciate you not criticising the game alot of us love. Yay! Tennis this saturday.
jimmyrhondy - 1/1/2009
I like it how you tried to make it seem like 3 words....good try though.
jimmyrhondy - 1/1/2009
Its nor a matter of interest or not its that AFL is way more skillfull that NRL, there is so many more skills to learn than just , taclking, passing and running, in AFL there is unlimited things to be thinking about, its much more complicated and skillfull.
Liverbiscuits - 12/30/2008
I so agree. long live the nrl. and the crowds. i totally agree with you man 'loyddxmas'.
Liverbiscuits - 12/30/2008
personally, catching a ball then hearing a whistle isn't very skillful. in afl, you score to much because the game is easy. but there is some chemisty in nrl. skill and strength is needed to play nrl. i just don't find afl that interesting. quite boring if you ask me. but you all have your opinions. long live the nrl and reggie.
jimmyrhondy - 12/1/2008
And running in a straight line untill you cross a little white stripe is really skillfull?...i hate Afl but it is alot more skillfull than rugby.
wicksy03 - 11/13/2008
The Thing about AFL in Sydney is Most Real People Just Cant Follow at Football Team Thats is Named The Swans!C'mon Wake Up!,Footy
wicksy03 - 11/13/2008
Cats Cant Tackle!
Diablo5163 - 10/24/2008
GO THE NRL!!!!!!
Liverbiscuits - 10/2/2008
there is no skill in afl. all they do is catch the ball... all i can hear is a whistle being blown every 2 seconds. pretty boring... ps: GO NRL!
